Achievements

 Industrial Linkage Programme (ECNEC Project)

The Industrial Linkage Programme (ILP) of PCSIR envisages the strengthening of R&D capability in the areas of food, textile, material science, pharmaceutical & chemicals in its existing Laboratories complexes located at Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Quetta and Islamabad with an overall expenditure of Rs 1297.42 million over a period of five years. The project is now near completion. During the period, 19 Laboratories and centres in food, textile, material science, pharmaceutical sectors have been established to International standards having state-of-art facilities for R&D, testing/analysis certification and evaluation.

 

 Technology Transfer Agreement Between Leather Research Centre, karachi and M/s Mead Johnson International, Sialkot

 

An agreement was signed between LRC, Karachi and M/s Mead Johnson International, Sialkot in respect of technology transfer related to Chicken Paw Skin.

 

MoU Signed with National Cleaner Production Centre-Foundation
  PCSIR signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with (NCPCF) at Attock Refinery Limited (ARL), Morgah, Rawalpindi, regarding cooperation and collaboration in the field of environmental technologies.

 

Grant of Time Limiting Exclusive License Relating to Technology Incubation of Three Food Supplement Processes viz Energy Drink, Malt Base Iron and Zinc Syrup

The first technology incubation and transfer agreement of its nature was signed between PCSIR Laboratories Complex, Karachi and M/s Reign Nutro Pharma (Pvt.) Ltd, Karachi. The main purpose of the agreement is to grant a license for the transfer of technologies of "Energy Drink, Malt Base Iron and Zinc Syrup Technologies" with incubation of four years by acquiring processes developed by PCSIR.
