   Netherlands Fellowship Programme 2010

Netherlands Fellowship Programme 2010

  The Government of Netherlands has offered fellowship programme (short term/long term) for the year 2010 under the technical assistance programme. All the expenses involved will be borne by the Netherlands Government. The deadline for these programmes is March 1st, 2010. The application forms as well as further information can be downloaded from the website www.nuffic.nl

 

MoST Organizations and Wings are requested to send suitable and relevant nominations against the courses to this Ministry (IL Wing) at an early date for finalization and onward transmission to Economic Affair Division two months in advance of the deadline mentioned against each course.  

 

Therefore it is requested that two sets of the following documents must be attached with the two sets of application form and submit to Director (Training), PCSIR Head Office, Islamabad to process the case further.

 

Short Term

  1. Original admission letter from the host institution in the Netherlands stating the nominee has been conditionally accepted.

  2. Certified copy of educational record.

  3. Medical Certificate

  4. Undertaking (One Copy)

  5. FTC Proforma (One Copy) (Specimen Attached)

  6. A letter from employer endorsing study plan and guaranteeing salary to continue to be paid during training period.

  7. A copy of valid passport or an official identity document.

  8. Two copies of photographs

 

Long Term

1.      Original Admission letter from the host institution in the Netherlands stating that nominee has been conditionally accepted.

2.      A research proposal/plan use the format prescribed by the Dutch institution supporting of application.

3.      A letter from employer endorsing study plan and guaranteeing salary to continue to be paid and a job will be held.

4.      The official result of an English Language Test (TOFEL or IELTS) is compulsory for long term courses.

5.      A copy of valid passport or an official identify document

6.      Two copies of photographs

7.      A copy of birth certificate (duly legalized from the Netherlands Embassy)

8.      Certified copy of educational record.

9.      Medical Certificate

10.  Undertaking (One Copy)

11.  Surety Bond (One Copy) in case of long term training

12.  FTC Proforma (One Copy) (Specimen Attached)

Eligibility Criteria:

·        The candidates should be mid career and not above 50 years and neither below 27 years.

·        Candidates are eligible for a fellowship only if they have been admitted to the course of their choice and meet all the criteria. Being admitted to more than one course does not mean that the candidate can apply for more than one fellowship. Candidates will have to select one course before apply for a fellowship.

·        A letter of admission should be in the candidates possession well before the embassy’s deadline for submission fellowship applications. Therefore, candidates are strongly advised to start the application procedure for admission as early as possible.

·        Candidates who have received short term/long term fellowship NFP or other during last three years are not eligible to apply.

·        Candidates should have completed an NFP short term/long term course application form alongwith complete documents.

 Incomplete/late submission of documents/nominations will not be entertained.
